Start on your Path to Reclaimed Vitality, Energy and Resiliency.
The Issue
In today's fast paced, high stress and increasingly urbanized environments, hundreds of thousands of people suffer from poor sleep, depleted energy levels, and a general lack of health.
Do you struggle with getting to sleep or obtaining a full night of quality sleep? Perhaps you fall asleep easily but wake-up feeling groggy? For many of us, we have become so used to being tired that we are not even aware things could be different.
Sleep deprivation is associated with ALL of the following, and more: (1) (2) (3) (4)
- Negative impacts on relationships at home and at work.
- Increased risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and cancer.
- Decreased effectiveness of the immune system.
- 13% increase of premature death from all causes.
- Greater risk of developing depression.
- Decline in logical reasoning abilities and working memory.
- Weight gain.

Circadian Rhythms
Circadian rhythms are biological processes (physical, mental and behavioural) that follow a 24-hour cycle. They occur in nearly all living things (plants, animals, microbes) and respond most powerfully to light/dark cycles. In humans, circadian rhythms most notably impact: (1) (2) (3) (4)
- Hormone Release
- Eating Habits and Digestion
- Body Temperature, and
- Sleep Patterns
Our Solution
The most important environmental cue for your circadian system is light.(5) By simulating natural lighting conditions using TUYA compatible WiFi connected light bulbs, Right Light can support you in reclaiming your vitality, energy and resiliency!
Right Light's Circadian Lighting focus' On:
Simulating natural light conditions for your geographic location, time of year and time of day.
Performing automatically with little to no user input required after installation.
Minimizing melatonin suppressing blue light, during evenings & after sunset.
Altering bulb luminance throughout each 24-hour time period.
About Right Light
Right Light was created by me, Mark Piorecky. I am a biologist who runs a small, but busy, independent environmental consulting firm from my home. Like many of us, I probably spend too much time in front of a computer, and not as much as I used to outside.
In recent years fatigue and difficulty sleeping got me researching and implementing a number of bio-hacks aimed at improving various aspects of my health. During this period I learned of the impact that blue-light can have on our natural circadian rhythms. I then noticed that when I'd work late under the bright white LEDs in my office, I could easily work till 2 am and not be tired, as the blue-light would effectively suppress my release of melatonin. Unfortunately, I would pay for it the next day... or even longer!
Having grown up my entire life (like most of you), with electricity and lights, I'd never given it a second thought that our lighting today may be impacting our biology, health and energy levels. This awakening led to the creation of Right Light, the APP that simulates natural lighting conditions throughout your day. I hope you benefit from it!

What People Are Saying about Light,
Circadian Rhythms and Health
In modern societies, circadian rhythm and sleep disruption
are perhaps more pervasive than ever. Non-pharmaceutical interventions are capable of improving circadian system function and sleep, including blue-blocking glasses and apps to filter short-wavelength emissions (blue light) from electronic devices.
If we disrupt our circadian rhythms, there is rapid deterioration in all aspects of human health and function.

Health lies in circadian habits... This new simple idea, that we need more bright blue light during the daytime and less light, or darkness, at nighttime, is starting a new lighting revolution! I truly believe that circadian rhythm has untapped potential to prevent, manage and cure many of the chronic diseases that affect billions of people.
DR. SATCHIN PANDA - SALK INSTITUTE AND AUTHOR OF "THE CIRCADIAN CODE"
Circadian regulation of sleep leads to better health outcomes. It does so in neonates. It does so in the elderly!
